MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (AP) -- A sentencing hearing is set for a former Michigan funeral director who authorities say collected money for prepaid funerals but failed to put the money into escrow.

John Olszewski pleaded guilty to funeral contract conversion under an agreement with prosecutors. He's to be sentenced on Tuesday in Macomb County Circuit Court.

As part of the agreement, he's expected to be sentenced to probation and ordered to repay about $13,000 to six former customers.

Olszewski is the former owner of Duncan-Olszewski Funeral Home in New Haven, about 30 miles northeast of Detroit.
