SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -- It's the second-leading cause of cancer deaths for men and women, but this weekend you can help make a difference in the fight against colon cancer.
The Chris 4 Life Colon Cancer Foundation is hosting its first metro Detroit walk to raise awareness of the disease and money for research.
The first ever Scope It Out 5K Run/Walk will take place Saturday, November 3 at Willow Metropark in New Boston.
Proceeds will benefit the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
