DETROIT (WJBK) -
Police are investigating a break-in at the offices of U.S. Representative Hansen Clarke in Detroit.
According to a spokesperson no one was in the office at the time but laptops, cameras, camcorders and office supplies were stolen. Clarke's office is located at 400 Monroe Street in Greektown.
Police believe the burglary happened sometime late Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
Clarke who is finishing out his term in Congress lost to U.S. Rep. Gary Peters in the Democratic primary in August. Come back to myFOXDetroit.com for updates and look for more on FOX 2 News beginning at 5 p.m.

13 dogs were rescued from a house on Ewers in southwest Detroit. The three most emaciated dogs were taken to the VCA in St. Clair Shores. They are being held in isolation for at least a week.
