GAINESVILLE, Ga. -

A popular game played by many Facebook users started a life-changing chain of events that will allow for a Georgia couple to give an organ to a complete stranger.

While playing Farmville on Facebook, Lisa Miller of Gainesville met a young woman who was in desperate need of a kidney.  The 29-year-old Idaho woman's kidneys are failing, and Miller decided to make it her mission to find her an organ donor.

But Miller didn't have to look far.  Her husband, Chris, was a perfect match, and he was more than willing to make the sacrifice.  The Millers traveled to Washington, where the woman—whose first name is Tiffany—receives treatment.  There, they met her face-to-face for the first time.

"The emotions were overwhelming," said Lisa Miller.  "I mean, to finally meet her in person."

"Now we're a part of her, and she's a part of us," Chris Miller told FOX 5. "That bond we have now is pretty intense."

Tiffany's surgery is set for January.  The Millers have started a fund to help with their costs to travel to Washington, and to help Tiffany during her recovery.
