A Brooklyn teacher has been charged with sexual misconduct involving a teenage girl.

Police say Urszula Jankowska, 33, was arrested on Monday. She was charged with criminal sex act, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.

It was not immediately known if she had an attorney.

Police said the alleged lesbian sexual affair occurred at various locations over the course of several weeks in the fall of 2011.

The DOE said Jankowska was an English teacher at Williamsburg High School for Architecture and Design.  It has students in grades 9-12.

The NY Post reported the encounters took place at the 13 year old girl's Queens' home.

The Department of Education said Jankowska was immediately removed from the school following the allegations of sexual misconduct with a student.

The school is housed on the campus of the Harry Van Arsdale High School on North 6 Street.

The investigation is continuing.
