Suffolk County police are looking for the suspect who is responsible for shooting an arrow through a Canadian goose.

The goose was found near Sag Harbor Cove across from Long Beach Road-Fosters Memorial Beach.

The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

SPCA officials say although the bird is able to walk, fly, and eat, this incident is another act of cruelty committed on wildlife in Suffolk and he is asking anyone with information to come forward.

Anyone with information can contact the Suffolk County SPCA at 631-382-7722. All calls will be kept confidential.
