Oakwood holding 'Holiday Heart Check' event this weekend

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -- With the extra stress of decorating, entertaining and buying the perfect gifts, the season of giving can take a big toll on your heart.
To help keep you out of the emergency room, Oakwood Healthcare System is hosting its first-ever Holiday Heart Check this weekend.
The event offers a variety of free health screenings, counseling and information focused on heart attack and stroke prevention.
Holiday Heart Check happens at three locations this Saturday -- The Henry Ford and Fairlane Town Centerin Dearborn from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the Emagine Theatre in Woodhaven from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
