Police: Known Fugitive Leads Officers On Chase Through Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. -

Police in Wilmington say they had to tase a suspect after an early morning police chase Monday.

According to police, two officers were on patrol in the city's east side when they attempted to pull over a car for a traffic violation.

Police say the vehicle didn't stop and led the officers on a pursuit that ended in the area of the 800 block of Bennett Street.

The driver, who police say is Kim Thomas, got out of the car and ran away. Officers say they followed him and eventually tased him.

Police say Kim is a known fugitive.
