Fire In 3-Story Building In Philly Under Control

PHILADELPHIA -

A fire in a three-story building along the 4900 block of Baltimore Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia is now under control.

The fire sparked inside of the building around 1:40 p.m. Monday afternoon.

The building is made up of vacant apartments above storefronts. A firefighter at the scene tells FOX 29 the fire sparked inside of a store.

Emergency responders say no one was injured in the fire.

It's not yet clear how the fire sparked.

SkyFOX flew over the scene as heavy smoke could be seen from the building's roof.
