Three men and one woman were arrested Friday for reportedly stealing a grocery cart full of alcohol they planned to re-sell.
Deputies say 27-year-old Mathew Edward Mullin, 29-year-old Christopher Michael Comiskey, 38-year-old James Gregory Yohe and 35-year-old Tamra May Fought went into a Safeway grocery store in the 4700 block of East Sunrise.
The four people allegedly filled a grocery cart with various alcoholic beverages and left the store without paying for them.
Security officers identified the suspects as the people involved in a separate incident at a Safeway location in Tucson a few days before. One of the suspects allegedly showed a weapon during the robbery.
Deputies saw the suspect's vehicle about two blocks away and conducted a high risk stop. The stolen items were found in the vehicle they were driving in.
During the investigation, detectives say they found out the suspects planned to re-sell the items.
The four people were arrested and booked in a detention center. They face charges of trafficking in stolen property, organized retail theft, shoplifting, and outstanding warrants.
Mullin was identified as the suspect who showed a weapon in the earlier incident and was also charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
