Missing 3-year-old boy in Queens found safe

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The New York City Police Department says a three year old boy reported missing on New Year's Eve has been found safe.

Makoto Maki, 3, had last seen at approximately 5 p.m. in the vicinity of the Queens Theater inside of Flushing Meadow Park.

He was reported found in good condition around 11:45 p.m.  The circumstances around his being found were not released.

The boy only speaks Japanese, according to police.
