CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Blue Cheese, Walnuts & Cranberry Spread

Keep entertaining simple with a tasty spread using smarter, reduced fat versions of cheese.  This easy idea requires no cooking but makes everyday items special enough to share during your next gathering.  It's also a great idea to include multiple food groups like this one does.

Active Time:  15 minutes

Total Time:  15 minutes

Amount: 1 1/2 cups

  

Ingredients:

1 (8 ounce) package Essential Everyday™ Neufchâtel Cheese, softened

½ cup reduced fat blue cheese crumbles

½ cup chopped walnuts

¼ cup chopped dried cranberries

1 tablespoon chopped chives

Essential Everyday Multigrain Thin Crackers

 

Directions:

  1. In medium bowl, combine Neufchâtel, blue cheese, walnuts, cranberries and chives. 
  2. Using electric mixer, mix until well combined; salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Serve with crackers.
