Charges Dropped Against One Brother For SEPTA El Shooting

PHILADELPHIA -
The District Attorney announced today that charges against one of two brothers charged in relation to the December SEPTA El train shooting were dropped.
The incident, part of which was caught on surveillance tape, showed a good chunk of the crime, including the shooting. Investigators believe an argument or disagreement erupted on the train following a Bulls-76ers game.
Matthew Early, 18, and Eric Early, 16, got off a train in West Philadelphia and shot back into the train car. Two men were injured.
Police say it was Matthew, not Eric, who was the shooter. Matthew is in police custody.
