RIMROCK, Ariz. (AP) - Northern Arizona authorities say an elementary school in Rimrock has been burglarized for the second time since November.
Yavapai County Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported burglary early Thursday at the Beaver Creek Elementary School.
School officials say the burglars entered the bus barn and stole property while vandalizing the area.
Items taken include a power drill, a walkie-talkie and six flashlights. They say the burglars also poured motor oil in and around the building and attempted to break in to several vehicles.
On Nov. 24, deputies investigated another burglary and vandalism case at Beaver Creek.
Fire extinguishers were sprayed in the lobby and classrooms, ceiling tiles were pulled from bathrooms and several desks, cabinets and lockers were ransacked. Authorities say food and money also were taken from the school.
