Man Shot During Atlantic City Robbery

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -

A 51-year-old man was rushed into surgery Sunday after police say he was robbed and then shot once in Atlantic City.

Police tell FOX 29 the man, who was with at least three others, was robbed on the 100 block of N. Vermont Avenue shortly after 6 p.m.

The man was shot once in the abdomen, according to investigators.

Police believe the man is from Law Vegas.

Police say the suspects, a group of about 5-6 men who were armed, all got away with several cell phones.
