Casting call at Oakland Mall seeks full-figured women

TROY, Mich. (WJBK) -- Metro Detroit models proud of their curves could soon have a place to show them off.
Officials from Full Figured Fashion Week are hosting an open model call this Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Oakland Mall located off 14 Mile Road. The event will run from 2-4 p.m. at the Lane Bryant Store.
The casting team is looking for models between the sizes of 14 and 20. Participants are asked to come dressed to impress with a pair of heels and two self portraits.
