DETROIT (WJBK) -- No, that wasn't the bat signal seen by drivers along I-75 in Detroit last night.

MLive.com reports General Motors projected the Chevrolet Corvette emblem on the Russell Industrial Center Thursday night in anticipation of the iconic car's 2014 debut this weekend.

GM plans to unveiled the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Sunday night, one day before media previews open at the 2013 North American International Auto Show.

MLive.com says the new vehicle will deliver an estimated 450 horsepower and feature an all-new small-block, LT1 6.2-liter V8 engine.
