Man Fires Off Gun Near Bucks County Restaurant

Posted: Updated:
WARMINSTER, Pa. -

County Line Shopping Center in Warminster turned into a crime scene Friday morning as business owners and workers locked their doors and took cover.

FOX 29's Claudia Gomez reports that police are searching for 33-year-old Jose Delgado, the man they believe entered a Spanish restaurant with a loaded gun and an apparent grudge.

Warminster Police Chief Mike Murphy told Claudia that, "Mr. Delgado came into the restaurant.  There was some type of a verbal altercation or verbal discussion, at which time Mr. Delgado produced a handgun and discharged it four times inside the building."

The restaurant owner and two employees were inside the building, but none of the bullets hit them.  Police say Delgado used to own the restaurant before new management took over a few months ago.

Police are not sure of Delgado's motive.

Delgado is now on the run and was last seen in a red Ford Explorer.
