Visiting elementary schools with her children's book, Shivani Sharma makes fruit kabobs with the kids and teaches about proper nutrition at an early age.
Shivani Sharms is a registered dietitian and nutritionist and a LEAP Therapist - specializing in food sensitivities related to IBS, Migraine, Fibromyalgia and other inflammation related disorders. During her visit, Sharma reads to children about eating more vegetables and fruits with color in them.
Suitable for children 3 to 9 years old, the book teaches that eating right starts early. The book takes chidlren on a fun fantasy journey while teaching healthier ways to eat.
"The book is fun and easy for kids to understand, and parents can read it with them, as well," said Sharma. "It takes them on a journey that teaches them to eat by color and makes a great holiday gift."
