Jim Schwartz's coaching staff will have a different look next year. Today the team hired two new assistants, moved two others and announced that coordinator Danny Crossman won't return.
Curtis Modkins takes over as the teams running backs coach and run game coordinator. He spent the past 3 years as the Bills offensive coordinator and running backs coach. He's got six years of NFL experience overall.
Bobby Johnson has been hired as Schwartz's tight ends coach. He's been in the league for four years and spent last season in Jacksonville as the Jag's tight ends coach.
Two members of Schwartz's staff were also reassigned. Tim Lappano, who spent the last four seasons as the tight ends coach, moves and takes over the receivers. Jeremiah Washburn takes over as the offensive line coach where he's been an assistant the past four years.
