The Clothing Closet in El Mirage hands out clothes to needy families.
Over the weekend, some frozen pipes burst, and they had to shut down. It damaged a lot of the clothes they hand out.
There's a lot of damage to the clothes and the office, so they'll have to stay closed for a while.
"It created enough damage that we are not going to be open for at least 4 to 6 weeks," says Chick Klein.
"Today I was told we need to empty the building so that they can take care of ceiling and insulation, whatever needs to be done so we can get back to business."
They are now going through the wet clothes to determine which can be saved.
