CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
Chicago rapper Chief Keef must spend 60 days in juvenile detention for violating probation on a gun conviction.
Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, was sentenced last year to 18 months' probation after his conviction on aggravated unlawful use of a weapon charges for pointing a gun at police officers.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports Cozart cried as he pleaded with Walker not to sentence him to detention. However, the judge said he wouldn't tolerate Cozart's "blatant violations of the court's order."
Chief Keef's first album, "Finally Rich," was released last year to mixed reviews.
