A woman died when police say her car flipped over early Sunday morning in the area of Woodhaven and Knights Road in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police say the woman's car struck a guardrail and flipped over around 4:30 a.m.

The victim was in her 20s, investigators at the scene tell FOX 29.

Emergency responders managed to free the woman from her car before she was rushed to Aria Health's Torresdale campus.

Police have not released the name of the victim.
