'Heart Soul Detroit' comes to CCS

SOUTHGATE, Mich. (WJBK) -

'Heart Soul Detroit' features 50 iconic people that call Detroit 'home'.

"I did 70 interviews. My editor, Matt Lee and I devised the list that we thought would make a nice portrait of the city," said Jenny Risher, photographer.
After the interviews, Lee and Risher sorted through and took the list down to 50.

An opening reception and book release party will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25.
