A pedestrian was seriously hurt when he was hit by a car near 7th Street and Roosevelt Ave Monday night.
The male victim was crossing east to west when he was hit by a car traveling southbound. The pedestrian was in a crosswalk, but he had a "do not cross" signal.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and impairment is not suspected.
The pedestrian was combative when he was being transported. Police believe he may have been impaired.
The latest on the victim's injuries are not known.
