A band of snow along a frontal system Friday morning brought anywhere from a dusting to fairly large accumulations in southern portions of our viewing area.

Outside FOX 29's studios in Center City, we saw flurries, but not enough to really stick.

That was not the case across the region. Parts of Cape May County got hit with more than a half foot of snow.

In Dennis Township, they got 6.5 inches.

Farther south in New Castle County, the plow trucks were called to clear some of the roads around Wilmington.

Parts of Delaware saw up to 5.5 inches of snow.

It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday.  That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
