Police Investigating Robbery Of Bank Inside Supermarket

The FBI and Lower Merion
Police Department are investigating a bank robbery at a Citizen's Bank in Bala Cynwyd.
The branch, located
inside of an ACME Supermarket was targeted Saturday morning. The suspect handed a note to a teller
demanding money. He fled in a dark
colored SUV after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described
as a black male in his late 20s, 6'2" tall with a goatee. He was wearing a navy winter coat with fur
trim on the hood, blue jeans and a grayish baseball cap. He had on dark gloves and shoes.
He is considered armed
and dangerous. Anyone with information
is asked to contact police.

Rain moved in Saturday afternoon and the chance for it will stick around through the seven day forecast.
It becomes very unsettled across our area with clounds and showers again Sunday. The best chance for rain is in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms are possible towards our south.
Sunday is cool but we do warm up well into the 80s by Tuesday. With the warm weather comes a better chance for thunderstorms.
