Police Investigating Robbery Of Bank Inside Supermarket

The FBI and Lower Merion Police Department are investigating a bank robbery at a Citizen's Bank in Bala Cynwyd.

The branch, located inside of an ACME Supermarket was targeted Saturday morning.  The suspect handed a note to a teller demanding money.  He fled in a dark colored SUV after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s, 6'2" tall with a goatee.  He was wearing a navy winter coat with fur trim on the hood, blue jeans and a grayish baseball cap.  He had on dark gloves and shoes.

He is considered armed and dangerous.  Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
