The Phoenix Waste Management Phoenix Open is celebrating its fourth largest attendance record in event history.
About 58,791 people attended the open on Sunday, putting the weekly crowd total at 525,821. This year's event was about 12,500 people short of the all-time record set in 2008.
With 179,000 people showing up on Saturday, the open set a record for the most attendance on a single day for any PGA tour.
In addition to Saturday's record, the third annual "Green Out" at the WM Phoenix Open raised $60,000 during the open's third round.
For every person wearing green to the open on Saturday, Waste Management and the Thunderbirds donated $1 to non-profit environmental organizations.
About 35 percent of the people who showed up wore green, including many players.
The money will be divided between organizations Keep Phoenix Beautiful, Arizona Forward and Keep America Beautiful.
