4 Decomposing Bodies Found In Lancaster Co. Funeral Home

CONESTOGA, Pa. -
A funeral home director in Lancaster County was arrested Friday after four decomposing bodies were discovered in the basement of his facility.
Police said they found the untreated bodies at the Gundel Funeral Home in Conestoga. The owner, Benjamin Siar, faces charges of theft by deception and abuse of a corpse and is being held on $250,000 bail.
Investigators said Siar received more than $13,000 in payment for funeral and cremation services for the neglected bodies.
The remains have been taken to Lancaster County's forensic center for examination.
