Maple Theater gets a facelift and serves drinks with your popcorn

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -
The Maple Theater in Bloomfield has always been known for showing artsy films that you cannot typically find at the big box film houses.
You can still catch a good flick there, but now you can do it while drinking a beer, a cocktail or some gourmet coffee.
The seats are new and plush and there is a sense of a "movie going" community developing here.
Play the video to get a preview, get it -- preview, of the makeover and the hangover. Just kidding about the hangover part, there's a two drink maximum.
