NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A person has been struck by a southbound No. 2 subway car in Manhattan.

The FDNY is at the scene near 110th Street and Lenox Avenue.

The incident occurred at about 10:05 a.m.

It is not clear how it happened or how badly the person was injured.

Trains were suspended in both directions for approximately 40 minutes.

Straphangers should anticipate delays on the 2 and 3 lines.
