
PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a fatal car crash closed a portion of Interstate 40 about 10 miles west of the Arizona-New Mexico border for more than three hours.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says the westbound lanes of I-40 were closed after the 1 p.m. Thursday accident. They were reopened around 4:30 p.m.
Details on the crash weren't immediately released.
