Jenny McCarthy is back with a new talk show.
It airs Friday night on VH1 and the former Playboy playmate says she got inspiration from the old Hugh Hefner show "Playboy After Dark." McCarthy is hoping to interview celebrities and talk about pop culture.
McCarthy will commute to tapings in New York from Chicago. The 40-year-old mother moved to Chicago's suburbs last spring to raise her 10-year-old son in the Midwest. She says if her show is a success she hopes to move it to Chicago.
McCarthy has re-embraced her hometown. She writes a column for the Chicago Sun-Times and even dated Chicago Bear Brian Urlacher for a short time last year.
