Flyers Encourage Young Fan In Fight Of His Life

VOORHEES, N.J. -

While Flyers forward Scott Hartnell is working his way back to the lineup with a broken foot, he took the time to meet with kindergartner Braeden Most to bring him some encouragement for what lies ahead.

FOX 29's Colleen Wolfe was there as 5-year-old Braeden soaked up VIP treatment from some of his favorite Flyers, getting a tour of the locker room and sharing in sweet treats.

Hartnell wished him luck, saying they would bring Breaden back in when he was feeling better.

Braeden was rushed to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia at the end of December because of involuntary movement in his eyes. There, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor that cannot be operated on.

Braeden is already feeling the effects of the tumor and has lost most of his peripheral vision. Doctors will attempt to shrink the tumor with chemotherapy.

He's in the fight of his life, but Braeden certainly has big fans cheering him on, not the least of which is his mother, Colleen Flood.

"He's tough," she said. "I told him we're going to fight this and we are going to win."

You can follow Braeden's story and lend your support by liking his Facebook page.

An armed deli robbery is caught on camera. Two brazen gunmen held up the store owner with the man's kids right nearby. It's scary enough having armed gunmen storm your business.
