Drivers were careful tonight as crews from PennDOT took care of Lehigh Valley roads to ensure driver safety.
The snow started in the Bethlehem area just before 6p.m.
Drivers were met not only with a slippery mess on the roads but also in clearing off windshields of snow and ice.
The snow however, was welcomed by some as snowball fights ensued in a local parking lot.
Snow is expected to end over night with snow ranging between 6-10 inches.
Rain moved in Saturday afternoon and the chance for it will stick around through the seven day forecast.
It becomes very unsettled across our area with clounds and showers again Sunday. The best chance for rain is in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms are possible towards our south.
Sunday is cool but we do warm up well into the 80s by Tuesday. With the warm weather comes a better chance for thunderstorms.
