The snowstorm that pounded Suffolk County caused part of the roof of a bowling alley to collapse Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say it happened around 4:30 p.m. at the Smithtown Lanes at 200 Landing Avenue. There were no injuries and no one was inside the alley at the time.
The roof collapse broke several sprinkler pipes and caused a gas leak but it was shut off by National Grid.
