Man Turns Himself In After Bensalem Fatal Hit And Run

BENSALEM, Pa. -

Police in Bensalem say a man has turned himself into investigators in connection to a hit-and-run that left a 71-year-old man dead.

According to police, 40-year-old Mario Rodriguez-Morales turned himself in Tuesday afternoon in connection to the early Tuesday morning incident.

Rodriguez-Morales faces Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury and Involuntary Manslaughter charges, police said.

Police have identified the victim as Madanago Bakthavatchalu. Investigators say Bakthavatchalu was walking along a section of Knights Road in Bensalem when he was struck.
