Sen. Marco Rubio's impromptu water break during the Republican response to the State of the Union on Tuesday caused a stir on Twitter.
Around 11 minutes into his speech, the Florida senator appeared to get a little dry-mouth, so he not-so-subtly reached for a bottle of water that was placed off camera. He then took a swig and returned to his speech. (CLICK THE VIDEO ABOVE TO WATCH THE SIP)
The moment didn't go unnoticed online.

"People are making a big deal out of #rubio's gaffe but I'm sure next week it will all just be water under the bridge," tweeted Stephen Kosloff.
"I think someone put Rubio's Water Bottle on Clint Eastwood's chair," said Amy Haberland.
Some didn't find humor in the incident.
"If Marco rubio's water break was the biggest fault the liberals can find in his speech , I'd say Rubio did a pretty dang good job," said Ryan Wirsing.
