State lawmakers talk Illinois gun law reform in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (FOX 32 News) -
State lawmakers are getting down to business in Springfield Tuesday, regarding state gun law reform.
A house judiciary committee heard testimony from both sides of the issue as they worked to comply with a federal appeals court ruling on gun law reform.
In December, the court found Illinois' restrictions on carrying a gun in public unconstitutional.
The court gave the General Assembly until June 9 to change the law.
