PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. -
Deputies say a 47-year-old woman was attacked and sexually assaulted by a suspect Saturday after she stopped to check on a flat tire on west Highway 89.
The woman suffered cuts to her hands and abdomen and injuries to her head and upper body. She was taken to a hospital and was released.
Yavapai County Sheriff's Office deputies are looking for a suspect. They say the woman was unable to give a description of the suspect.
Deputies say detectives have identified one person as an investigative lead, but no arrest has been made.
Detectives are continuing to investigate.
