Some amazing guitar work from a 9-year-old Alpharetta boy has caught the eyes of some rock and roll legends.

Benjamin Bluestein isn't a guy of many words; he lets his music speak for him.

The young musician just got back from "Rock N' Roll Fantasy Camp" in Las Vegas, where his dad says he made is mark.

"When the professionals say it, it kind of sinks in," the boy's father, Rob Bluestein, said.

When Ben first picked up the guitar for the first time two years ago at the age of 7, his father says he knew there was something special.

"We're hearing prodigy a lot, we're hearing photographic memory for music," said Rob Bluestein.

The fourth-grader says that he able to hear a song and replicate it, but he has a selective ear.

"That only happens with a certain type of music," he said. "Most of the time rock and some of the time, alternative."

Rob said that the talent comes from his wife's side of the family.

"Her family is super talented," he said.

Benjamin said that his dream is to "either become famous or become a professional musician."

The small rocker is already inspiring at least one person.

"I learn so much from him. I tell him my idol is him because I see him pick up songs so quick and he'll entertain me for hours. He's a little idol to me," said Rob Bluestein.

Ben is the in process of forming a band. His father hopes that he'll go on for study music in college.
