PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia police say a 12-year-old boy was hit in the stomach by a possible bullet fragment in a shooting Monday evening.

The boy suffered a graze wound to the stomach and was taken to Einstein Medical Center by his mother, according to police.

The shooting happened on the 900 block of W. Duncannon around 4:30 p.m.

Police say the boy is being treated for minor injuries.
