We're getting our first look at the mug shot of a man who was pulled over for DUI and allegedly dragged an officer several blocks with his vehicle.

The suspect is being identified as 31-year-old Hayden Daughters.

Early Sunday morning, an officer was conducting an investigation on Daughters, who he suspected of driving drunk, near 32nd Street and Indian School Road.

However, while in the middle of a field sobriety test, Daughters ran back in his car and attempted to drive away, police say.

The officer tried to stop him and was dragged by the car for several blocks -- until the vehicle collided with a parked car, a fence, and a tree.

The force of the collision ejected both the officer and Daughters. The officer was taken to a hospital and released late Sunday morning. The officer will be ok.

Daughters was hospitalized for several days. He was booked into jail Wednesday on charges of failure to stop for police, aggravated DUI, aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and unlawful flight.
