CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Bobcats owner Michael Jordan has found another home in the Charlotte area.
The Charlotte Observer reports First Community Bank sold the home to the Jordan Family Gift Trust for $2.8 million.
In 2010, Jordan invested $3.15 million in two combined top-floor penthouses at The Trust condos in downtown Charlotte. A Jordan spokeswoman declined comment on the new home on Lake Norman.
The 12,310-square-foot home is on 1.1 acres along the seventh hole of the Peninsula Club in Cornelius. Built in 1993 and originally listed for $3.5 million, the three-level home features entertainment and exercise space, a boat slip and a pool.
Jordan has some notable neighbors, among them former Boston Celtics center Robert Parish and Joe Gibbs, owner of Joe Gibbs Racing and former coach of the Washington Redskins.
