It will be a busy weekend in the west valley as NASCAR returns to Phoenix International Raceway, but there's a change this year and it's made a lot of people unhappy.
For years, Bashas' grocery store set up shop at PIR, but this year, they're gone.
A Bashas' representative says while the company is recovering from filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the location wasn't making a profit and decided not to renew.
Fans are upset that they don't have access to items from produce to cigarettes.
Track officials are in talks with other grocery stores and plan to have this problem solved by the time NASCAR comes back to town in November.
