CAMDEN, N.J. -

First on FOX: Prosecutors have filed more charges against the couple accused of running down a police officer and stealing two cruisers, resulting in a wild pursuit Tuesday from Camden into Philly.

Blake Bills, 24, has been charged with attempted murder, carjacking, eluding police, aggravated assault and assault as a result of Tuesday's incident.

Bills' girlfriend, 23-year-old Shayna Sykes, faces new conspiracy, joyriding and theft counts.

It turns out that was at least their third run-in with the law in a span of three days, investigators tell FOX 29's Dave Schratwieser.

Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk says Bills and Sykes were allegedly trying to buy drugs Sunday at Third and Erie streets in North Camden.

The prosecutor said Bills was behind the wheel of a vehicle that was chased onto Interstate 676 and onto a ramp for the Walt Whitman Bridge. That's where he allegedly made a hard right turn right in front of a police officer, who was forced to make an evasive maneuver and rolled the vehicle over.

The police officer was injured but is expected to be OK.

Then, before Tuesday morning's wild police chase, Bills and Sykes allegedly tried to carjack someone in the area of Third and Market streets in Camden.

Charges have yet to be filed against the duo in those two prior incidents but are expected to come down later today, Faulk told FOX 29.

Then came Tuesday's crazy scene, which you saw unfolding first right here on FOX 29.

A Camden police officer pulled over a Jeep, but Bills allegedly jumped into the squad car and ran the veteran police officer over before Sykes hopped into the cruiser. Police say the pair crossed into Philadelphia, where officers cornered the car, but Sykes somehow, escaped, jumped into a Philadelphia cop car and took off again.

SkyFOX was overhead as the cruiser sped through the narrow streets of Fishtown, flying through intersections, squeezing past or sliding into cars, hopping onto sidewalks and eventually bursting into flames.

The cruiser finally limped to a stop, and Sykes was arrested.

We've learned the two have a 7-month-old child and were staying with relatives in Macungie Township, Lehigh County, before all of this went down.

They already faced a slew of charges in Philadelphia -- including DUI, resisting arrest and risking a catastrophe -- as a result of Tuesday's chase.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.
