Police Release Identity Of Wilmington Woman Killed By Train

WILMINGTON, Del. -

Police in Wilmington on Sunday released the identity of the woman who was killed by a train Friday night.

According to police, 39-year-old Colleen Anderson of Wilmington was struck by a train after walking onto the tracks on the 800 block of New Castle Avenue just before 10 p.m. Friday night.

Officers found Anderson lying across the tracks when they arrived.

Police say their investigation is ongoing.
