Powerball jackpot hits $183M for Wednesday drawing

ATLANTA -

Georgia Lottery officials say the jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing has hit $183 million.

The jackpot has grown since February 9, and has rolled over nine times, say lottery officials. Powerball tickets are $2 per play.

Lottery officials say proceeds from Powerball benefit education in Georgia.
