I confess I confess! I faked sickness many Sundays growing up so I could skip church and.... watch Jem! I freakin' loved the battle of the girl bands...and sad but true, I still get a lot of my fashion cues from the 90's cartoon. Jem and the Holograms were rockin'
babes...and even more fierce in the fashion department...Jem's arch rival band, The Misfits. I'm convinced Alexander McQueen also channeled a bit of Jem/Misfits into his edgy designs. So as I donned my silver leather shell this AM, with my sunglasses belt...I couldn't help but jam to a little Jem on-set. I swear...the theme song says "Truly Julie Truly Outrageous!". If it's not...it should be:)
