DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -
Two homes on Detroit's east side were both destroyed on Thursday in what investigators suspect was a firebombing attack.
The first blaze broke out at a home on Cope Street near Warren and Conner and quickly spread to the house next door. Both families were able to make it out of their homes without any physical injuries, FOX 2 reported.
It took firefighters several hours to extinguish the flames. Detroit Police believe a firebombing sparked the blaze which remains under investigation.
